Actually, I'd rather see all of you!

I know you've probably had the phone call, and are making plans to attend this first reunion in August. But I wanted to send out a reminder, and let you know how excited I am at the thought of seeing my cousins, my aunts and uncles, my nieces and nephews, my brothers and sisters.

When I think about family, it's your faces I see. It's your voices I hear. In fact, I hear those voices, see those faces in my own home, in my own children, glimpses of you all -- signs that we are all connected, all a product of two beautiful and amazing people. You belong to me, and I to you.

I can't wait to see you at Wendy's this summer. Be sure to let me, or Mom, or Wendy know that you're coming, and what you'll be bringing along. (See list below.) I expect we'll laugh until we hurt, maybe shed a few tears, play lots of games, eat till we bust, and head home feeling the strength of those family ties a bit stronger than before. That's my hope. I love you all!

Things to Bring

1. at least one pair of long pants
2. tennis shoes
3. ice chest with pop for your immediate family
4. games, cards, dominoes, etc.
5. camera
6. fishing poles (if you have them)
7. pillows, sleeping bags, blow up mattresses, blankets & sheets (if you have them)
9. mosquito repellent and sunscreen
10. swim suits, towels, & any swim toys you want
11. a dessert
12. items to sell in auction. (crafts, food items, family heirlooms, anything!!)
13. allergy medication (if you have any allergy--contact or breathing--bring meds!)
14. fireworks (if you want to bring some - please tell Wendy what you're bringing!)

***CORRECTED*** DIRECTIONS TO WENDY'S:

GO SOUTH from Bartlesville on US 75 till it turns into Indian Nations Turnpike (just south of Henrietta, OK).

CONTINUE SOUTH on Indian Nations Turnpike to McAlister/Calvin Exit.

GO EAST to McAlister on US 270, thru McAlister to Hartshorne, OK. (CALL WENDY'S HOUSE*)

TURN RIGHT at the Sonic Drive-In onto Savage Hwy.

CONTINUE on paved road for SIX miles, then you hit gravel road.

CONTINUE on gravel for approx. ELEVEN miles, on left will be Jack Fork Assembly of God Church. (white cinder-block church)

TURN RIGHT and go about one mile (over one big bridge & two small bridges) to top of big hill.

Wendy's drive is on RIGHT next to a wagon wheel drive.

Signs will be along the way from the gravel road until you get to Wendy's drive.

*Please call Wendy's house when you get to Hartshorne, so we know you are on your way. Your cell phone will not work after you leave Hartshorne. Wendy's Home Phone-918-569-4470

If you get lost after you leave Hartshorne, ask ANYONE how to get to the Old Weathers School. It is across from Wendy’s and EVERYBODY knows it.
